The Woods at Oakley

We spent a long time imagining the kind of day we wanted, and it kept coming back to the same picture: no seating plan to speak of, no fuss, everyone we love standing together under a canopy of old oaks.

So that is what we are doing. We will say our vows among the bluebells, eat outside, dance badly, and sit by the fire until the light goes.

Little Ones

Children are very welcome.

We want a relaxed, family-friendly day, and we'd love your children to share it with us.

Dress Code

Wear what feels like you — smart, casual, colourful, whatever lets you be comfortable. No ties, please.

Wear comfortable footwear. We'll be on woodland paths and open ground.

To Drink

True to who we are, our day will be alcohol-free — a celebration where everyone, drinker or not, feels equally at home.

Animals

As much as we adore your four-legged friends, we ask that pets stay home this time. There are animals living on site whose peace we'd like to keep.

Above all, we simply ask that you come with an open mind and a happy heart.
